PARTICIPATION
"This diverse and exciting group of award winners illustrates the wonderful skills and creativity we have
in the UK – both traditional and in new forms. By high-lighting these skills we can introduce them to young people who may be inspired to become the next creative generation."
Duncan, as co-director of Clayground Collective,
heads up the creative engagement programme,
which recently includes Clay Cargo a project that traces Josiah Wedgwood’s historic canal routes
highlighting links with ceramics and the materiality
of clay. Each year, for 3 years (2013–2015), over
a 5-month period, they present a theatrical and engaging public participatory and interactive programme of activity working with partners in
London, Birmingham and Stoke
